As many golf drivers as there are, I’m constantly seeking more distance, more forgiveness, and above all, improved feel. My latest acquisition is the Cobra Aerojet LS Driver, and I believe I’ll give you my honest review. If you’re asking yourself if this driver is worth your money, then keep reading my opinion.
First Impressions
Off the shelf, Aerojet LS felt hip and trendy. The black color had a serious business “I am” type of vibe, and when I first held it in my hands, it felt light but sturdy due to the carbon crown and sole. The grip felt solid in my hands and gave me confidence before I even hit the ball.
One of the first things that I immediately noticed was the sound. My previous driver emerged sounding like I was striking something with an empty tin can. This one has a crisp “click” on impact, and that alone made me feel more comfortable on the tee box.
Key Features
Here’s the thing that intrigues me:
- Aerodynamic Shaping – Allows me to swing quicker and hit farther.
- PWR-Bridge Weighting – Low, forward weight for quicker ball speed and reduced spin.
- PWRShell Face with H.O.T Design – Even when I hit it a little bit off center, I still achieve decent speed and distance.
- Adjustable Weights & Loft – I prefer it adjustable to my swing.
- Carbon Crown & Sole – Senses the driver firm but light, which remains stable throughout the swing.
On the Course
Used it for the first time at the range, my drive was straight and long, and I adored it. I had switched from regular flex to stiff shaft, and I was astonished my swing didn’t suffer.
Did it add 50 yards more? No. But I did see a bit more yardage and much more straight balls. With the adjustable loft, I was able to achieve higher flight as well, which is a big assist for me to keep up with youngsters who swing harder.

In my opinion, this driver is a huge price win. It’s not the latest Cobra offering, but that also makes me able to buy it for that much less. Honestly, with what it can provide in speed, forgiveness, and adjustability, I don’t believe that there is a better value on the market today. It’s an upscale driver minus the upscale cost.
Who I Believe This Driver Fits
Best for: Intermediate to advanced players like me, mid- to low-handicappers, or whoever else wishes to cut out spin and hit straighter drives.
Not ideal for: Total beginners. If you’re just starting out, you’ll probably want a more forgiving model.

Yes, definitely. The forward weighting provides me with a lower, penetrating ball flight.

The Cobra Aerojet LS Driver may not be on par with the latest offerings, but it is a great driver for the money. It gets me feeling confident in the tee box, has truer and longer shots, and is premium without costing an arm and a leg.
Would I thumbs up it? ✅ Yes, particularly if you are a mid-to-low handicap golfer like me who needs a good, adjustable, and cost-for-money driver.
To me, it has been more than a club, it’s an ego-brusher. And that’s worth every penny.
