Expert Review: Trilite Golf Push Cart Review – 2025

Table of Contents

When you choose to ride in a golf cart, you’re missing out on walking 2-6 miles, which is a significant amount. Walking during your rounds is a great way to get exercise and truly appreciate the game. However, sometimes, especially when you have a lot of gear like balls, a rain jacket, extra socks, gloves, and drinks, you might feel tempted to ride instead. I feel the same way, even though I know walking is better for me…

But having a nice, lightweight push cart like the Omada Trilite can make the healthy choice easier. With its compact size, easy setup, and built-in storage, the Trilite makes exercise more enjoyable. It lets you fully experience the magic of golf by walking the course.

First Impressions

When I opened the box for the first time, I was impressed by the size, weight, and appearance of the cart. It measures 25.5 inches long, 16.7 inches wide, and 12.5 inches tall, weighing only 14 pounds. It’s one of the smallest and easiest-to-handle carts I’ve tried. Folding it out is a breeze – just snap two latches, as shown in the quick video below.

The cart has plenty of strap length to accommodate anything from a small carry bag to a full-size staff bag, without any trouble. Even a big staff bag fits securely.

Build

Body

The Omada Trilite has a strong aircraft-grade aluminum body that feels sturdy but keeps the cart light. Both the main beam and the wheel bars kept my bag secure, and I never worried about it tipping over. It’s lightweight and easy to push around the course.

Wheels

The wheels on the Omada Trilite are a bit small, but that didn’t bother me on the course. They’re made of thick, molded plastic, so you don’t have to worry about inflating tires. The wheels provide good traction, and I didn’t have any problems navigating on a wet day. The front wheel doesn’t swivel, which I actually like – it lets you push the cart a few steps ahead as you walk down the fairway. There’s just one brake cable connected to the right wheel, but it holds the cart in place without any problems.

Accessories

Omada Umbrella: This big umbrella is really well-made and fits perfectly in its holder. The grip feels nice, and the wind slots on top make sure it stays put on windy days.

Carry Bag: This is my favorite accessory for any cart, and Omada’s bag is top-notch. It’s perfect for keeping your car clean and preventing the cart from rolling around, especially after a wet or muddy round.

Umbrella Holder: Omada offers both a regular and oversized option to attach an umbrella to your cart. I’ve used it in the rain, and it works great! It keeps your clubs, towels, and you dry, which is a real plus out on the course. You might hope you won’t need it, but if you do, you’ll be glad to have it!

Clean

Omada offers a handy extra gadget called the Caddy-Clean. It’s an all-in-one tool designed to help you keep your clubs clean while you’re out on the course. Just fill the bottle with water or a soapy solution, and it’s good for 500 sprays. The Caddy Clean comes with a scrub brush, wire brush, and two types of groove cleaners. I found it really useful on both the course and the driving range, especially during the muddy spring season here in the Midwest. It’s a fantastic little addition, whether you’re buying it separately or as part of a gift for the golfer in your life.

Looks

The Omada Trilite push trolley looks really nice. The one I tried was black with green accents on the wheels. While the trolley itself only comes in black, it offers a variety of colorful wheels. Some might think the colors are a bit bold, but I personally liked how eye-catching the trolley appeared.

Performance

The TriLite trolley worked well on the golf course. It moved smoothly, though the wheels weren’t as loose as others I’ve used. Trolleys have improved a lot since the old pull ones that made you stoop and drag. The TriLite is comfortable to use – easy to steer with its high handle, so I could stand up straight and not strain my back. I used a carry bag on it, and sometimes with non-cart bags, trolleys struggle to hold them properly. But I was pleasantly surprised that the Tri-Cart held my bag securely without needing adjustments.
