I am Ryan McGuire, I started playing when I was 11yrs old, turning 12. My father got a membership to a country club thru his work, to take clients out golfing. I started in the junior program (playing 3 holes, then 5 holes & building up to 9 holes).
Why I Love Golf
I love being outdoors. I love the feel of well struck shot. I love the life lessons. I love the solo nature. I love so many things about it.
My First Tournament
At the end of summer, I played in the 5 hole championship & shot 45 (averaged 9 per hole), winning the trophy.
What I Have Achieved
Lots of things. Played 4 yrs varsity in HS, had D2 & D3 offers to play in college. Caddied during JRHS & HS while playing. Have won numerous tournaments as a kid & adult. Compete today, including passing the PAT (Players Ability Test) this past June, knocking out a goal for future roles in the goal industry. Shot 74 & 76 to pass by 7 shots.
